The Langtang National park is the largest park in the Himalayan region, containing 45 villages and a variety of wildlife. The visitors will be in the jungle rich in flora and fauna making it a paradise for nature lovers. From Lauri Binayak onwards you can see the Himalayan views up to Annapurna South East faces. Lauri Binayak is also one of the best destinations for those visitors who want to view the sunrise and sunset view. The high pass of Gosainkunda must be attempted in a single day due to the problems of overnight exposure at over 4700 meter height.

Day to day outline itinerary

Day 01:Upon arrival meeting and assistance at the Airport & then transfer to the Hotel Welcome dinner (D) / Checklist.

Day 02:Drive from Kathmandu (1400) to Dunche (1966m): It is the trailhead, about four hour's drive from Kathmandu. From near Rani Pauwa there are good views of Annapurna II, Ganesh Himal and Manaslu.

Day 03:Dhunche (1966m) to Forest Camp (1982m) approx. 6 hour's walk

Day 04:Forest Camp to Ghora Tabela (3048m) approx. 6 hour's walk

Day 05:Ghora Tabela to Kyangjin Gompa (3840m) approx. 6 hour's walk.

Day 06:Rest day at Kyangjin gompa and explore around the surrounding area.

Day 07:Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel approx. 6 hour's walk.

Day 08:Lama Hotel to Syabru (2901m) approx. 6 hour's walk.

Day 09:Syabru (2901m) to Sing Gompa (3254m): From Syabru there is a confusing trail that involves a lot of climbing. You have to stay to the right of the spur and travel in southerly direction. Stay high and cross the ridge into the Trishuli Khola Valley. About

Day 10:Sing Gompa (3254m) to Gosaikunda (4380m): The trail continues upwards through forest. There are no villages, only a few shepherds’huts. You can enjoy magnificent views of Himal Chuli (6893m) and Manaslu (8156m) to the west and Langtang Lirung to the north

Day 11:Gosaikunda(4380m) to Ghopte Cave (3566m): Either return down the valley to Dhunche(1966m) or cross over into the Helambu region. The latter climbs through rugged country, passing a few more small lakes before ascending quite steeply to cross the Lauribina

Day 12:Ghopte Cave to Melamchi Goan (2560m) approx. 6 hour’s ofwalk.

Day 13:Melamchi Goan to Shermathang (2664m) approx. 7 hour’s ofwalk.

Day 14:Shermathang to Taramarang (960m) approx. 6 hour's of walk.

Day 15:Taramarang to Pati Bhanjyang (2438m) approx. 6 hour’s ofwalk

Day 16:Pati Bhanjyang to Chisopani (2194m) approx. 2 hour's of walk. Enjoy rest of the day free yourself.

Day 17:Chisopani (2194m) to Sundarijal (1585m) - then Drive to Kathmandu.

Day 18:Kathmandu / Free Yourself / Optional Sightseeing: In the early morning you can visit some of the world heritage site and different religious places like Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Bhaktapur City, and so on. In the evening time free activity yourself.

Day 19:Kathmandu - Departure: Transfer to International Airport
