It is one of the most rewarding of the short treks available anywhere in Nepal. Langtang valley is the site of some spectacular mountain views as well as a great place to meet a unique people. The trek is best started either from Dhunche or from Syabrubesi. The most convenient starting point is Syabrubesi as this then gives the option of extending the trek to take in the sacred lakes at Gosainkunda. The maximum altitude is 4300 m above the sea level.
Day to day outline itinerary
Day 01:Meet & Greet at Airport Transfer to Hotel.
Day 02:Kathmandu, check listand prepare the permit.
Day 03:Kathmandu-Dhunche Drive 8/10 Hours
Day 04:Dunche to Syabru (2901m) 5 -6 hour's Walk. Stay Overnight at Lodge.
Day 05:Syabru to Lama Hotel (2600m) 6 -7 hrswalk. Stay Overnight at Lodge.
Day 06:Lama Hotel to Langtang (3430m) 6 -7 hrs walk. Stay Overnight at Lodge.
Day 07:Langtang to Kyangjin Gompa (3840m) 4 hrs Walk. Stay overnight at Lodge.
Day 08:Free at Kyangjin Gompa & side excursion up to Langsisa Glacier or at the foot of Langtang Lirung glacier.
Day 09:Lama Hotel approx 6 hour's walk. Stay Overnight at lodge.
Day 10:Lama Hotel to Syabru Bensi (1462m) approx 6 hour's walk. Stay Overnight at Lodge.
Day 11:Syabru Bensi to Kathmandu approx. 8/10 hours by Drive
Day 12:Kathmandu: Sightseeing different point of Interest
Day 13:Kathmandu / Free yourself
Day 14:Kathmandu- Departure to International Airport
